It's offensive? To who? The Kangaroo? If you're offended by the fact that an animal, arbitrarily associated to you by something as petty as geography, is being used for entertainment then I really have no response. Were I you I'd be far more offended by the ridiculous views of the Australian government with regards to 'humane' entertainment because, unlike this kangaroo, you're directly responsible for their stupidity. |

If you call getting punched in the face 'entertainment' then sure. I'm guessing you're the kind of person who thinks animals have rights, well rights entail a responsibility in society, the only exception being in children (it would not be in society's interests to jail children, thus the parents take on their responsibilities as a proxy), so either you claim this animal serves a similar delayed benefit to society as a child (thus negating the rights-responsibility issue) or you cede the point. |

Kangaroos are in plague proportion here. There are twice as many kangaroos as there are people. That's 50 million kangaroos. 7 million are killed every year. There are just too many because we're pretty much the only thing that hunts them. There aren't many pure dingoes on the mainland because they breed with domestic dogs and they're pretty much the only predator we have capable of taking down a roo. Except for the occasional one that ventures too close to where a saltwater croc lives. |

It was a fairly educated guess was it not? You were obviously from an English speaking country, and one in the Western world at that. That leaves Canada, the UK and the US.
Considering the fact that the US has the highest population and highest moron density when compared to Canada and the UK, it was only natural to assume that you were in fact an American.
