The only thing thats ridiculous is your non existent knowledge of boxing history. Holyfield was a cruiserweight at that time and was just starting to move up. Lewis was an amateur who was preparing for the Olympics where, (like other great champions of the past), he took gold. The Tyson camp were the ones cherrypicking and fight dodging. It cost them 4 million bucks to dodge Lewis. But why let the facts get in the way of ill informed opinion. |

Actually... Tyson and Lewis sparred back when Cus D'amato was still alive... and the story goes that the fight was pretty much the same as this one; Lewis jabbed and kept mike on the outside.
And when a taller fighter does that to a shorter fighter... its a done deal.
Its not that Lewis ducked him... Lennox was essentially a nobody during that time period.
As far as Holyfield, in March '89 he had his first heavyweight fight... and two more that year.
So that's where they were. |

technically the clinch is breaking the rules and in my opinion that also defeated tyson the punch and grab. tyson was frustrated that he couldnt hit him due to this "loop" in the rules started eating jabs in an attempt to land a knockout shot |

Tyson didnt fight against Riddick Bowe, George Foreman, David Tua, Ray Mercer or Tommy Morrison. Holyfield fought against Foreman and Bowe. Lewis beated all those boxers i mentioned except Foreman. Tyson never beated anyone special. |

So where was Lewis in 1986-89 when Tyson was in his prime? Him and Holyfield were cherry-picking their fights and waited until Tyson was a trainwreck to fight him. It's fucking ridiculous, at least Tyson fought the best competition and didn't dodge any opponents. Both Lewis and Holyfield were fake champions at a time when Mike Tyson beat himself. |
